Mrs. Pearce
September 1913, Covent Garden, London. Wimpole Street, near the Higgins residence…
Mrs. Pearce. A kind woman of 60 years. She has been the housekeeper in the Higgins residence since the Professor was in diapers. Mrs. Pearce had been taking care of everyone in the household for years and has been putting up with a lot of professor Higgins’ tantrums overflow the years, and yes, she has survived. She is calm and collected and well-received by the other housekeepers of the neighborhood. She is quite mother-like and functions as the voice of logic between the residents of the house, or at least she tries to. Six years ago, her back gave out while she was cleaning and Mr. Higgins got her some extra help. It’s the only time Mr. Higgins has been reposted to show some emotion. Mrs. Pearce has been seen walking alongside ethe Colonel at multiple occasions and her remarks on Mrs. Doolittle’s way of cleaning or speaking are heard through the kitchen window all day. However, she look at the young woman with a lot of love and is quite caring and careful with her situation.
Housekeeper. Caring, outspoken, motherly.
