Mrs. Hall

September 1913, Covent Garden, London. Wimpole Street, near the Higgins residence…

Mrs. Hall. A 40 year old house maid. She has been working in the Higgins residence for 5 years, since Mrs. Pearce’s back gave out when she was sweeping the entrance stairs. She has been a great help in the household. More fiery than Mrs. Pearce, something that bothered Professor Higgins in the beginning, but overall a good employee and trustworthy. Mr. Hall, her husband, is a carpenter and has been repairing a lot of broken furniture in the house (we can blame Mr. Higgins’ temper for that).

She has been spotted walking alongside Miss Doolittle and explaining things to her. They typically go to the farmer’s market while Miss Doolittle repeats Mrs. Hall’s words with weird intonation.

Mrs. Hall has been reported to have fought with an elderly man that tried to enter the residence countless times. She might be tiny but she did a great job keeping him away.

House maid. Fiery, hardworking, loving.

“Nonsense sir, she should think of the future!”

“I’m the housekeeper if you please”
