Mrs. Higgins

September 1913, Covent Garden, London. Wimpole Street, near the Higgins residence…

Mrs. Higgins. Delightful woman of almost 60 years (though we do not know for sure as a lady never reveals her age and it’s not polite to ask). Very particular being.

Quite a sociable woman, always hosting parties and her at-homes are considered to be the best of the local society. Well-behaved and good natured, polite and well-spoken. Supposed to be a good and fair mistress to her employees. Quite particular about her son’s visits in the home, not always happy to see him.

Concerned about her son’s life choices and lack of matrimonial bonds. No real connection. Can be made between her and the young girl. Her connections to the Colonel remain unknown.

Aristocrat, warm hostess. Social, patient, well-mannered.

”You two infinitely stupid male creatures  go home at once!”

”I would have thrown the fire irons at you.”
