Based on Edgar Allan Poe’s short story “The system of Dr. Fether and Professor Tarr, Stonehearst Asylum delves into a Gothic horror story of a Victorian asylum and the treatment of mental health patients in those horrible times. Are you even a Literature lover if you don’t get the chills by anything Poe inspired? Although we are scared sh**less when it comes to horror movies this one is definitely worth making your ‘to watch’ list.
